The song sings of a Chinese myth where a young goddess falls in love with a human boy, who sacrificed himself to save her.
The young goddess later traded her life to the dead in return of the boy’s soul and brought him back to the land of gods where soul appears in the form of a fish. Since then, they are inseparable, and the stronger their bond holds, the larger the fish grow. Sadly the boy never belonged to this land, and he can only be saved if she helps him return to where he belongs.
