The Forgotten parts of Lower Ince Cemetery.
Due to the flooding, the cemetery appears like this most of the year. It only dries up during the hot summer months. Even though there is an outlet at the very bottom of the cemetery where the excess water could go, the pipes that should have been laid years ago to stop the flooding were not built.

The piece of music is the Valse Sentimentale of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, a piece composed in the height of summer at a cottage in Kamenka, where the composer stayed for a short while to find peace during a difficult time of his life. Perhaps such peace and warmth will reach even these feebly sunlit pieces of stone.

Personally I believe that these cemeteries are bedlams, cerebral cortexes in mahogany cases and in them are enclosed generations and generations of little humans who, in this case, have built the fascinating culture of Wigan.
