Description
The fourth and final movement of the second suite from the amazing collection of "8 Grand Suites" by George Frideric Händel, first published in 1720. This is a gorgeous fugue, and the obvious centerpiece to this suite. Kind of short and pretty conventional in form I think, but masterfully designed, with charming counterpoint!
Recorded on Werkmeister III temperament, a common choice of historical tuning for baroque music, in August 2025.
