I wrote this song after being hurt by someone I loved. Writing the song helped me come to the conclusion that I was actually alright. That I'm actually happy by myself and that I'm not as dependent on others as I once thought. Heartbreak is hard, but ultimately I think that if we are all good to ourselves then we'll be alright in the end. This is definitely the most honest song I've ever written and I'm quite scared to share it with the world. I hope it gives you some joy and courage to be okay on your own. Hannah X
