Description
Hi people who love Scotland!
Jamie Macpherson, also known as "James of the hills," was a Scottish outlaw and fiddler who lived in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. He was known for his skills as a swordsman and fiddler, and for leading a band of outlaws who robbed the wealthy and shared their spoils with the poor, similar to Robin Hood. Macpherson's story is a mix of historical fact and legend, particularly his dramatic execution and the destruction of his fiddle.
Macpherson was a celebrated fiddler, and his music became part of his legend. He was even said to have played his fiddle beneath the gallows while awaiting execution.
