Description
Mud's dalliance with disco - their funky single "Shake It Down" which reached the top twenty in Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden in Spring 1976. All four of the TOTP appearances for their penultimate hit single from May and June 1976 survive in the BBC archive but this is a recent live performance from the Cavern (Raynes Park SW20 - not Liverpool!) on 12th September. Original members Ray Stiles and Rob Davis are supported here by Glitter Band drummer Pete Phipps, Keith Presley (no relation!) on guitar and Ray's touring colleague from the Hollies, Ian Parker, on keyboards.
